Grand Prix 2K Guide

The RowVerse Grand Prix is a year-round prize competition built around the 2K — the benchmark distance of indoor rowing. Row 2000 metres, submit your time, and earn tickets to win monthly prizes.

The distance that decides it all

STEP 1

The 2K — Rowing's Benchmark

The 2000 metre piece is the gold standard of indoor rowing — it's the distance used at the Olympics, World Championships, and every major erg test. The RowVerse Grand Prix centres on the 2K: row your fastest 2000m, submit it, and earn your place in the monthly prize draw.

STEP 2

Row Your 2K

Set your Concept2 RowErg up (PM5 monitor, drag factor of your choice), select 2000 metres, and give it everything. Whether you're chasing a sub-6 minute time or your first ever 2K, every verified 2K submission counts as one ticket in the Grand Prix draw.

STEP 3

Submit Your Result

Record your 2K on ErgZone, then submit it through the Workout Upload page with your screenshot or via your connected Concept2 Logbook. Each approved 2K submission automatically becomes a prize draw ticket for that month.

STEP 4

Track Your Progress

Use the Performance Dash to watch your 2K times trend downwards over the season. Every 2K you submit feeds your personal best tracking, so you can see exactly how much faster you're getting — and how many tickets you've earned along the way.

STEP 5

Monthly Prize Draw

At the end of each month, all eligible 2K tickets go into the draw and a winner is selected at random. Your tickets reset each month, so there's always a fresh chance. Check the Monthly Draw page to see this month's prize and past winners.

Eligibility: Only approved 2K submissions (not rejected or pending) count as Grand Prix tickets. Club-only submissions are excluded from the Grand Prix draw. You must hold an active RowVerse membership at the time of the draw to be eligible to win.
